QR/NFC tags may be printed or encoded for a specific order. Cancellation is available before production begins; personalized items are generally not returnable unless defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.
Clear terms for FindVault QR/NFC tags.
Last updated: 14 July 2026. These terms apply to ordering, activating and using FindVault scan-based lost-and-found tags.
1. Service type
FindVault is a QR/NFC scan-based recovery service. It helps a finder contact/report to an owner when a tag is scanned. It is not a live GPS tracker and does not guarantee recovery of every item.
2. Customer responsibility
- Keep activation details accurate and update phone/contact information when it changes.
- Do not publish sensitive identity documents, banking details or private address in public notes.
- Use the product legally and do not misuse it for stalking, tracking or harassment.
3. Orders and payment
Customer order flow supports Razorpay online checkout with server-side order creation and payment verification, plus WhatsApp/manual fallback when online payment is unavailable. Final delivery, customization and dispatch details may be confirmed by support before shipment.
4. Delivery, replacement and refund
- Delivery time depends on location, stock and courier availability.
- Damaged/wrong product replacement requests should be raised with photos/video within 7 days of delivery.
- Customized printed items may not be refundable after printing unless there is a manufacturing or dispatch mistake.
- If payment is collected manually and the order cannot be fulfilled, refund/replacement will be handled through support confirmation.
5. Emergency use
FindVault can show owner-approved emergency contacts/notes, but it is not a substitute for police, ambulance, hospital or official emergency services. In urgent situations, contact local emergency services first.
6. Verified recovery and handover
- Approximate network region and device information may be recorded for recovery and abuse prevention; it may be inaccurate and is not live tracking.
- Precise GPS is optional and requires the finder’s explicit browser permission.
- The six-digit handover code belongs to the finder and should be shared only after the item is physically handed over at a safe location.
- The owner must not pressure a finder to share OTP, location or identity before a safe handover. Five incorrect OTP attempts may lock verification.
- A verified receipt confirms that the FindVault workflow was completed; it is not government proof of title or a police certificate.
7. Support
Contact support@findvault.in for activation, order, replacement, correction or deletion requests.
Product, activation and recovery terms
FindVault increases the chance of safe contact but cannot guarantee that a lost item will be found, scanned, returned or handled by a third party.
Users must not publish OTPs, bank details, full government ID images, unlawful content or another person’s sensitive information without permission.
