What the public profile should show
A first name or nickname, guardian contact method, group or event name, optional medical warning and a clear “Help me reach my guardian” message. Avoid home address, school route or detailed family information.
Guardian-controlled privacy
The guardian selects whether call, WhatsApp or private finder report is available. Exact location remains optional and must require permission from the person scanning the band.
Physical band requirements
Use soft waterproof material, rounded edges, tamper-aware closure and a QR plate around 45 × 30 mm with a 24 × 24 mm code. Test the print on common Android phones before mass production.
Event operations
For organised mela or yatra deployments, create help desks, volunteer instructions, batch activation and a clear escalation route. Technology should support—not replace—trained staff and public authorities.
Emergency limitations
The band is not live tracking and does not guarantee recovery. In an immediate danger or medical emergency, contact local emergency services first.
